Smith Monitoring & Maintenance Engineering, Inc. (SMME) provides cost effective remedial design, installation, process monitoring and operation and maintenance services associated with soil and groundwater remediation. We specialize in in-situ treatment technologies including biostimulation and chemical oxidation and use field analysis to determine effectiveness of treatment. We also provide civil design and inspection services specific to our clients’ needs.

 Our project locales range from Miami, Florida to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. SMME's client list includes state governments, environmental construction contractors, engineering consultants, property owners, environmental lawyers and site remediation service providers.

 SMME began offering services and technical guidance to the environmental market in 1996. Our registered professional engineer, Rick Smith, has been involved in the environmental and construction industries since 1976 and has worked with the NEBS technology since 1997. Becky Smith is co-owner and President of SMME. Riley Smith-Vargas has been active within the company since 2005. He is involved with system construction and maintenance while apprenticing under Rick Smith.
